The Prince of Cool

Chet Baker was a jazz musician in the mid 1900’s. He was known for his soft and melodic trumpet melodies, with wispy and vulnerable vocal melodies laid on top. Baker was said to have had the qualities of Sinatra and James Dean rolled into one.

In creating the box set, the overall complexion of every element was based off of three initial record designs that were designed to reflect the nature or Chet Baker. This system was carried throughout all supplementary assets, in order to create a visually cohesive system.
