I Can't Hear You
I Can’t Hear You is an expressive typography book that intertwines a written letter with an accompanying text. The letter is written from Katherine Hepburn to Spencer Tracy eighteen years after his death. The letter is addressed to him, talking about his troubles during his life, specifically with his mental health.
The secondary text used throughout the book, is a script from a movie they acted in together, “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.” The layout of the book was carefully structured in order to have each text interact with one another to create a visual representation of what each text was about.
